Christianity 101 - Where to Start After You First Believe

The Book has had a great reception from Pastors and people on my LinkedIn network. I've also used it successfully with new believers who we have connected with in our outreach and personal discipleship.

My favourite story is of a young man who came to the Lord just over a year ago. He was in a local church where they Baptised him in water - but never explained the full significance. He never received the Spirit.

He read the book and came to ask questions... and that really is the purpose. To get people thinking about their faith and the real Christian life. I sent him into the Bible and then took him out to the local hospital.

As he was praying he broke into tongues! He wasn't shocked as he didn't know that many Christians have a problem with tongues. He just acted on what he'd read in the Bible. Next he laid his hand on a stroke victim and he recovered. He proceeded to share the Gospel in the most beautiful, simple way.

It was exciting to see basic faith, built on the Word, in action. It always is exciting.

This is the life we are called to. If only we'll get out of the way and allow the Lord to speak. My heart is for this booklet to lead people into the Bible in spirit and truth. To seek the Lord, and find Him, to long for more of Him in our daily walk.
